Volunteer Work
In 2016, I proposed the idea of recording our most popular session for the benefit of students that couldn't make it to the event. This allowed the event to have ongoing exposure online. This also provided additional promotional material for future AdCon events.
We used Facebook Live to record and post the event to AdCraft's Facebook followers. |
Each year, I conduct a Twitter chat to help students prepare for the event, receive career advice and connect with professionals in their potential fields. Advertising professionals are invited beforehand to provide their expertise during the chat. Students tune in to the chat to ask questions about the event and starting their careers.
This serves as a great resource for students that cannot attend the event as well, because they get the chance to network and receive applicable career advice. |
